On the farm we start seedlings in January in large 6 bay greenhouse that we heat with wood. That is a constant job to make sure the stoves are loaded with wood so the temperature is just right. Our retail season starts at Easter with Easter Lilies, tulips and hyacinths. Our big kick off weekend for our bedding and vegetable plants is Mother’s Day. At the time we have a large selection of annuals, perennials, vegetable plants, hanging baskets combo pots and more! Come July our stand opens with farm fresh produce from sweet corn and tomatoes to peaches and plums. During the fall months we have chrysanthemums, pumpkins, corn stalks and straw (for decoration). The week of Thanksgiving we receive loads of cut Christmas trees, wreaths and roping which we sell up until Christmas eve. The stand then closes and the cycle starts over again. We are here year round though with eggs and chicken. Depending on weather we may have some cold hardy crops still available so don’t be afraid to stop in or call. We do both retail and wholesale at the farm so whether you need a few things or tons we can help you!
